NavTap long term studies presented at ASSETS
The paper "NavTap: a Long-term study with Excluded Blind Users" was presented at ASSETS 2009, the 11th ACM Conference on Computers and Accessibility, in Pittsburgh, PA, USA, 26-28 October 2009.

VIMMI at Innovation Days 2009
BloNo, CleanDrive and Maximus were presented at Innovation Days,18-20th June, at the INESC-ID stand. The projects have called the visitors attention and were enthusiastically tried.

Presence at DSAI 2009
We presented two papers at DSAI 2009 - Software Development for Enhancing Accessibility and Fighting Info-exclusion Conference, one on facial expression recognition for augmentative and alternative communication and one on mobile guides for blind users.

Five papers and two posters presented at Interacção 2008
We presented five papers and three posters at the Interacção 2008 conference, mainly in the areas of Personal Information Management and Mobile Accessibility. The papers were:
  • "RealFind: Onde estão as actas do Interacção 2006";
  • "Sketch-a-Doc: Esboçando um documento para o encontrar";
  • "PersonalNews: A Nossa vida de relance;
  • "StoryTags: Contar histórias para etiquetar fotografias";
  • "Acessibilidade Móvel: Soluções para Deficientes Visuais".
As for the posters, we presented:
